As an Orthodox parish we adhere to the original teachings and moral principles of the Christian people and we speak to modern man and woman, with no apologies to modernity or postmodernity. There is a revival of Christian faith happening in our State… and in the city of Portland! And we are part of it. Young people are discovering the Orthodox faith and are flocking to learn about the faith. Praise God for this moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts and minds of young men and women who want a deeper, more authentic connection with the church of the apostles and the early Christians and martyrs. We at Holy Trinity Church aim to be touched and guided by this movement of the Holy Spirit and help as many as come through our doors to find the authentic, historical Christianity that is free of passing fads and gimmicks. There are no gimmicks in our Liturgy. It is pure worship of God, rather than worship of the self.

The Liturgy brings together everything that makes the Orthodox Church the place where we meet God. Scripture, Theology, Tradition, are brought together in a majestic symphony of hearts and minds turned to God the Trinity and the saving death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We welcome all visitors at the Sunday Liturgy as our guests in the friendship of Christ, with the understanding that Holy Communion is only offered to those baptized or chrismated in the Orthodox faith.
