A Note of Thanks

Words do not suffice to thank the many people who came to our three-day Festival and helped us make a triumphant return after a three-year gap without a Festival. A lot of work went into preparing and then serving our offerings. Thank you, Portland, and beyond!

A wonderful gift came in the mail on Saturday, and we do want to give it a special THANK YOU. We received a well-sealed large piece of cardboard arrived, addressed to Holy Trinity Church. The sender was indicated as follows:

FROM THE AWESOME KIDS ON SCHOOL BUS 761
SACO SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION
SACO, MAINE
04072

We carefully removed enough of the sealing tape to see what was inside. (See short video below.) The AWESOME KIDS OF SCHOOL BUS 761 had laminated the big Portland Press Herald article about our Festival and sent it to us. Now that was an awesome thing to do! And if there are kids out there who care enough and are excited enough about what our church does, all I can say is, Praise God for those kids! And the adult or adults who helped them put this together. THANK YOU! So many reasons to give thanks. And it was mutual, as many of our returning friends thanked us for having our Greek Festival. They/You missed us. And we missed you. Thank you for coming back.
