Liturgy of Pre-Sanctified Gifts

This is a Liturgy that is offered only during Lent. It is a quiet, meditative service with the reading of many Psalms. The communion that is offered in this Liturgy was prepared in the Liturgy of the preceding Sunday – hence the name “pre-sanctified”. Liturgy is always followed by a communal Lenten pot-luck supper.
