Our Historic Church

Holy Trinity Church has been part of the Portland landscape for 200 years, and an Orthodox Church for the past 100 years. We are proud of our historic building and have been diligent in maintaining its original character while also transforming its interior to suit Orthodox worship.

The steeple had to be torn down, but we hope to restore it. The Revere bell which was part of the belfry is on display in our vestibule. Our church building is the second oldest house of worship in the city of Portland and the community of Holy Trinity Church is proud to be the occupants and stewards of this piece of Portland history.
