Heretismi – Salutations to the Theotokos

This devotional service is offered on the first four Fridays of Lent, but it is not a Lenten service. It contains verses that echo the annunciation to Mary by the angel Gabriel. Because Annunciation always falls during Lent, the Heretismi and Akathistos end up being offered during Lent as well. This year because of the unavailability of people who chant and sing the various portions of these services we will not offer this service on all of the first four Fridays of Lent.
